You may have lots of questions about retirement living – and it’s important that you have all the information before making a move. At Beechcroft, we offer more than just a new home, we offer a whole lifestyle.
Retirement living, Beechcroft-style, means owning an elegant home in a beautifully landscaped and fully maintained setting. Your neighbours are likely to be of a similar age and of similar interests. Whilst you will be completely independent, an Estate Manager will be on hand to offer help and advice if you need it and to keep an eye on your home whilst you’re away. The Estate Manager will handle the maintenance of the development and the upkeep of both communal and private gardens. Your home will be energy-efficient, easy to maintain and a pleasure to live in – giving you more time to do the things you’ve never had time to do before.
Anyone – including family members – may buy a Beechcroft home but residents must be over 55. On our Special Projects developments, full-time residents must be at least 16 years old. From time to time, we build ‘open market’ properties without any age restrictions.

“My longer-term goal was to move to a retirement village in my mid-60s – but I have moved earlier than planned. I had just turned 60 when I started to look on Rightmove. I thought I would be better moving sooner because it might be more stressful at a later stage.”
