Moving into your new home

Packing your own possessions can be mentally and physically exhausting at the best of times – and particularly now. It is worth considering our ‘Manage Your Move’ package which means your furniture and possessions will be packed and transported to your new Beechcroft home for you.

The removal company will probably ask you to clean your household belongings with a standard domestic cleaning product before anyone, including the removal team, touch them.

When you’re buying a new Beechcroft home, you can be confident it will be deep cleaned prior to your move and, of course, the advantage of a new home is that no one else has lived there and the fixtures and fittings are brand new.

Estate Management

Our management company, ELM, is an extremely professional organisation with access to the best advice. ELM keeps in touch with Age UK and similar agencies in order to keep the estate management team updated as to the latest news and ideas on how to cope with the current situation.

The Estate Manager on each Beechcroft development handles the day-to-day administration including organising the cleaning of communal areas and the upkeep of both private and communal gardens. 

During recent months, the Estate Managers have been carrying out additional cleaning in the communal areas, shopping, collecting prescriptions, writing newsletters, helping homeowners stay in touch and undertaking many other tasks to help residents especially those who live alone. 

Please remember that your Estate Manager is on hand to offer practical help, act as a ‘sounding board’ for any anxieties, provide reassurance, chat to you on the phone or just to be a ‘friendly face’ around the development. You can also be sure that your Estate Manager will provide some interesting topics for discussion – rather than focusing solely on the current situation.
