The Housebuilder Awards, celebrating excellence in all aspects of housebuilding, are amongst the most prestigious in the property industry. At a glittering ceremony, hosted by Sir Lenny Henry, at the InterContinental at the O2, Beechcroft received the top accolade for Best Retirement Development for Orford Place, Ham Common.
The Beechcroft team is accustomed to winning awards for its retirement developments, for its landscaped settings and for its superb restoration and conversion projects. Earlier this year, the company’s Cotswold Gate in Burford was Highly Commended by the judging panel of the Evening Standard Awards and Orford Place was previously a winner of the Evening Standard’s Best Retirement Development.
Orford Place is a fine example of Beechcroft’s skill in the restoration and conversion of period buildings and the creation of new build homes that sit alongside, and complement, the listed buildings. The development comprises 23 homes designed for the over 55s, both new and converted, set in 23 acres of mature walled gardens with sweeping lawns, informal and formal planting, a kitchen garden, fruit trees and a whole range of mature trees including a 300-year-old Black Mulberry. As on all Beechcroft developments, an Estate Manager is on hand to handle the day-to-day administration, ensure the development is well maintained and that there is someone on hand to offer help and advice to owners, as and when required.
All the homes at Orford Place have now been sold but Beechcroft is currently creating new homes across the southern counties – including Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Kent and Oxfordshire.
If you wish to speak to the sales team, please call 01491 825522 but full details of all Beechcroft developments may also be found on the website here.
