Beechcroft Developments receives planning permission for the next phase of development at Wilton Park, Beaconsfield

The Beechcroft team is celebrating Buckinghamshire Council’s decision to grant planning permission for the company’s latest proposals for Wilton Park, Beaconsfield.

On 3 July, approval was given for a reserved matters application which will see the creation of 98 new homes at Wilton Park and a new Wilton House, designed in the style of the former manor house and set within restored formal gardens. An outline application for the creation of up to 96 new homes on land to the west of Wilton House, along with public open space, parking and landscaping, also received approval.

“We are delighted to receive approval for the next phase of development at Wilton Park,” comments Chris Thompson, Beechcroft’s Managing Director. “The construction of the new Wilton House, and the restoration of the formal gardens, will re-establish the historic heart of the Wilton Park Estate and provide a focal point for the development which includes a diverse mix of homes, designed to meet local housing needs. In addition to 95 assisted living homes for older people and the 75-bed care home that achieved planning approval earlier this year, we will be creating affordable housing and a new nursery, scheduled to open this autumn.”

“I would like to congratulate our team and thank everyone involved for their work on one of the most complex planning situations in Beechcroft’s 40-year history. We are now working up a reserved matters application to set out the details relating to the 98 new homes and the new manor house.”
