Chris Thompson accepted the role of Managing Director with Beechcroft in 1999, having rejoined the company. Chris first joined Beechcroft on leaving college in the 1980s and has played an important role in the company's development over the last three decades. Chris specialises in the selection of sites and the design of both new retirement housing schemes and properties for conversion in some of the best locations in Southern England.
With over 35 years' experience in the housing industry, gained with some of the UK's best known house builders, Angela South has developed the Beechcroft brand and is responsible for bringing Beechcroft retirement houses and apartments and Special Projects to the market, creating accurate and informative marketing literature, promoting developments, managing the sales process and communicating with customers.
Holly Foreman has been working in the property industry since 1998, gaining a wealth of experience of on-site sales and sales management with several of the country's leading housebuilders. Holly joined Beechcroft from Crest Nicholson in 2015 and, as Sales Director, is responsible for Beechcroft's dedicated sales team based on developments across the southern counties.
Prior to joining Beechcroft, Darren Smith worked as Construction Director for two major housebuilders. He began his career in construction as a bricklayer but, by the age of 23, had progressed to Site Manager. He spent five years working for one of the leading housebuilders, first as Site Manager and later as Senior Site Manager and then went on to gain experience in Construction Designate and Contracts Manager roles.
A Chartered Construction Manager with 20 years’ experience encompassing commercial development, volume housing, housing association and high specification retirement schemes. In the role of Commercial Director, Ben Goss is responsible for Beechcroft's commercial function from land acquisition through to final accounts. This includes the management and production of Beechcroft's build and material budgets and contracts, along with forming trading partnerships with subcontractors and suppliers. Ben also specialises in the production of Beechcroft’s highly detailed new build and refurbishment development specifications.
Kevin Feeney accepted the role of Technical Director with Beechcroft at the end of 2013, having worked with the company since 2005, on a full-time, part-time and consultancy basis. Kevin, originally from a Civil Engineering background, has spent the last 35 years working in the property industry and brings a wealth of residential development experience gained from his work with some of the South's leading house builders.
Mike Bowman joined Beechcroft in 2015, having spent 22 years working in the property industry for companies including Millgate Homes, Shanly Homes, Rectory Homes and Charles Church. Mike’s background in Civil Engineering, including 14 years spent working in Civil Engineering Design, has proved invaluable in his current role as Technical Director, a post he has held since 2018. His current role involves working with the internal Beechcroft team and with external consultants to design homes and developments that meet our customers’ needs and expectations. He manages all elements of the design process from planning and detailed design to construction and occupation.
Brett Jacobs commenced his career at Berkeley Homes in 1994 and, over the past 25 years, has acquired land for some of the UK’s best-known house builders. Brett joined Beechcroft as Land Director in 2016 and is currently responsible for sourcing and acquiring land opportunities and obtaining planning consent for developments in prime residential locations across the southern counties of England.
Ruth Bailey brings 20 years of experience to the role of Strategic Land Director at Beechcroft, having worked for some of the UK’s leading housebuilders. Throughout her career she has been involved in the successful planning and delivery of a wide variety of development projects and, in several roles, has been a key player within the management team, responsible for developing deliverable budgets and ensuring her team delivered profit on sites within the portfolio in a timely manner. In her current role at Beechcroft, she will take responsibility for developing the company’s strategic land portfolio in order to deliver a land pipeline for the business.
Leo James accepted the post of Customer Service Director with Beechcroft in May 2023, bringing many years’ experience of working in the housebuilding industry in the UK and the United Arab Emirates. Leo started his career in sales management before employing his skills in project management and then customer care. After working as a Customer Service Manager and later as Head of Customer Service for a number of leading UK housebuilders, Leo became Project Construction Manager for a major residential property business. Having joined Beechcroft, Leo will take responsibility for the customer journey and experience following legal completion.
