Customer Charter

Beechcroft’s Customer Charter sets out our commitment to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring your customer satisfaction during and after the purchase of your new Beechcroft home.

When you buy from us, you will have the benefit of a 10-year structural warranty and resolution service as well as our commitment to adhere to the Consumer Code

Our team at Beechcroft will provide you with a copy of the Customer Charter and/or the Consumer Code for Home Builders on request and you will receive a copy when you sign your reservation form once you have chosen your new home.

In the Customer Charter, the Beechcroft team promises to implement procedures to ensure that the standards and commitments outlined are met consistently and to provide you with detailed pre-contract information to enable you to make an informed decision prior to buying your new Beechcroft home. This information will be fair, reliable and jargon-free and will include a written reservation, explanation of the warranties along with details and estimated costs of the service charges.

All members of our staff are trained to deal efficiently with your enquiries.  We will advise you who to contact and every stage of your purchase and let you know how your questions will be handled.  We also ensure that that the sales process, advertising and marketing materials are clear, fair and truthful.   We do advise you to appoint your own professional legal advisor to deal with the purchase of your new home.

If your property is under construction, we will provide brochures/plans showing accurate layouts, appearance and plot position of your property and the specification or list of contents included in your new home. We will ensure you are aware of health and safety precautions to be taken on site visits or when living on a site where building work is underway.

We will provide you with a reservation agreement, clearly setting out the terms of reservation as stipulated in the Consumer Code, explain how your contract monies are protected, how any other pre-payments are dealt with and make you aware of your cancellation rights. We will also provide reliable information regarding construction timings and the anticipated date for completion of building work.

Once legal completion has taken place, we will ensure that ownership is transferred to you and we will demonstrate how your property functions and offer advice on ‘running in’ the property. We will also inform you in writing of our complaints handling procedure and provide information on the arrangements for resolving disputes as part of the Consumer Code. We will co-operate with the appropriately qualified personal advisors you appoint to help you resolve any disputes.
