Every year on November 11th we commemorate the sacrifice of those from Britain and the Commonwealth who lost their lives in conflicts around the world. The poppies that grew on the French battlefields after the Great War have become a symbol of remembrance and money from the sale of poppies is used to help servicemen and women whose lives have been changed by the wars in which they fought.
This year, Beechcroft hopes to bring new homeowners, prospective home buyers and their guests, together, inviting everyone to ‘Wear A Poppy With Pride’ at the company’s retirement communities across the south of England. Poppies will be sold at Beechcroft's sales offices in Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire and Surrey.  On Saturday 9th November, from 11 am to 1 pm, tea and cake will be served to visitors at the developments – and there will be an opportunity to view the show homes.
Beechcroft’s award-winning retirement communities are designed for the over 55s, featuring elegant, spacious, energy-efficient houses and apartments set in beautifully-landscaped and fully maintained communal gardens. Many of the new homes feature terraces, balconies or private gardens and the latter are maintained by the estate management service. Some developments provide attractive communal lounges and luxurious guest suites for visitors and, where there is a neighbouring care home, owners benefit from a menu of additional services from hot daily meals to hairdressing and social events.
Details of all Beechcroft retirement communities are listed on this website – along with prices, floorplans and contact details.
