The Worshipful, The Mayor of Thame, Councillor Ann Midwinter, presided at the official opening of Beechcroft’s Seymour Court, a new development for the over 55s in Thame last week. Beechcroft’s Managing Director, Chris Thompson and Sales and Marketing Director, Angela South were delighted to present the Mayor with a cheque for £500 in support of her chosen charities: Sharing Life Trust and Thame Youth Projects.
Guests at the event included new home owners at Seymour Court as well as prospective purchasers and members of the local business community who were interested in looking around the show home and properties currently on sale at the development. The collection of new homes currently on offer range from a two-bedroom, second-floor apartment with lift access to a three-bedroom house with sun room, terrace and private garden – and prices start from £350,000.
Seymour Court is the result of the careful conversion of Thame’s fire house, built in 1878 which now forms part of an elegant collection of 21 new and converted two and three-bedroom houses and apartments, designed for the over 55s, and tucked away in a landscaped, fully-maintained setting off Park Street.
The location is ideal, with shops and services almost on the doorstep and an Estate Manager is on hand to organise the maintenance and cleaning of the communal areas and the gardening of both communal and private gardens, to offer help and advice and to keep an eye on properties whilst owners are away. Each home features high-quality fixtures and fittings, including bespoke kitchens with a full complement of top-brand appliances, stylish vanity units and fitted mirrors in bathrooms and en-suites, fitted wardrobes to two bedrooms and flooring, including carpeting, throughout.
